Bio

this journal is named after and inspired by my clever cat, zorro. known for getting himself into some rather tight fixes (like falling into a pool once…or twice), walking into strangers' houses unbeknownst to them, and befriending mice rather than having them for dinner, he lived an extraordinary life. approaching each moment with a childlike curiosity but with a spirit and knowledge well beyond his years, he's what the surrealists would have called a chat-enfant. although he no longer graces us with his company on this great earth (a tragic incident with a ball of string), he should be an example of how we should all live our lives: with the awareness and the naïveté and the marvel of curious eyes. my (not so secret) secret hope is that his spirit is reincarnated into my first born child.
